In June 2015 Christies in London held the auction Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art, which included the work Head study for 'The Song of Miriam' by William Blake Richmond. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,750.00 (€ 5,287.45), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Blake Richmond achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Watchers in September 2018 with an auction result of GBP 72,500.00 (€ 81,426.82).
