Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Spiral) by Terry Frost was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November this year. The price achieved of GBP 1,152.00 (€ 1,334.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Terry Frost achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Walk Along The Quay in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 457,250.00 (€ 580,941.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Spiral) von Terry Frost kam im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.152,00 (€ 1.334,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Terry Frost erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Walk Along The Quay im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 457.250,00 (€ 580.941,27).
