A top price for Terry Frost - as previously expected
In July 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Walk Along The Quay by Terry Frost. The price achieved of GBP 457,250.00 (€ 580,941.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Walk Along The Quay is the most expensive artwork by Terry Frost that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Juli 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Walk Along The Quay von Terry Frost zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 457.250,00 (€ 580.941,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Walk Along The Quay das teuerste Kunstwerk von Terry Frost, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
