Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Terry Frost achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in November this year. In the Modern British and Irish Art auction, the work Untitled, Blue Composition sold for GBP 3,200.00 (€ 3,708.10) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Terry Frost achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Walk Along The Quay in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 457,250.00 (€ 580,941.27).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Terry Frost erzielte im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art wurde die Arbeit Untitled, Blue Composition für GBP 3.200,00 (€ 3.708,10) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Terry Frost erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Walk Along The Quay im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 457.250,00 (€ 580.941,27).
