The price achieved of GBP 23,500.00 (€ 37,395.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James Guthrie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work In The Orchard in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 601,250.00 (€ 740,679.00).
