Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Reclining Nude by Herbert James Gunn was sold in the British and European Art auction at Bonhams in March this year. The price achieved of GBP 1,020.00 (€ 1,160.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Herbert James Gunn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Grand Bassin, Le Jardin Des Tuileries, Paris in November 2004 with an auction result of GBP 65,725.00 (€ 94,545.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Reclining Nude von Herbert James Gunn wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion British and European Art bei Bonhams versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.020,00 (€ 1.160,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Herbert James Gunn erzielen.
