It achieved a price of GBP 75,600.00 (€ 85,345.04), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edward Burne-Jones achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Love among the Ruins in July 2013 with an auction result of GBP 14,845,875.00 (€ 16,963,999.76).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 75.600,00 (€ 85.345,04) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Edward Burne-Jones erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Love among the Ruins im Juli 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 14.845.875,00 (€ 16.963.999,76).
