Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by David Young Cameron achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Edinburgh in October 2021. In the The Scottish Sale auction, the work The Heart of Skye sold for GBP 6,120.00 (€ 7,250.55) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Young Cameron - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Castle Urquhart and Loch Ness, which sold at auction in July 2021 for GBP 23,750.00 (€ 27,851.80).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von David Young Cameron erzielte im Oktober 2021 bei Bonhams in Edinburgh einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Scottish Sale wurde die Arbeit The Heart of Skye für GBP 6.120,00 (€ 7.250,55) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von David Young Cameron mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Castle Urquhart and Loch Ness beobachtet, die im Juli 2021 für GBP 23.750,00 (€ 27.851,80) versteigert wurde.
