Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Glen Lyon, Perthshire by David Young Cameron was sold in the Scottish Art auction at Bonhams in Edinburgh in May 2021. It achieved a price of GBP 9,562.50 (€ 11,126.19), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Young Cameron - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Castle Urquhart and Loch Ness, which sold at auction in July 2021 for GBP 23,750.00 (€ 27,851.80).
