Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction Master Paintings & Sculpture Day Sale, which included the work Artemesia by Simone Pignoni. The price achieved of USD 35,000.00 (€ 31,551.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Other works by Simone Pignoni have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2018 the work Hl. Maria Magdalena was auctioned for EUR 54,560.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2020 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Master Paintings & Sculpture Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Artemesia von Simone Pignoni zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 31.551,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Simone Pignoni konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2018 die Arbeit Hl. Maria Magdalena für EUR 54.560,00 versteigert.
