The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,190.00 (€ 7,089.68) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Simon Starling have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2013 the work Burn Time was auctioned for USD 16,250.00 (€ 12,005.91).
