Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2008 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Modern Art, which included the work Paysage De L'Yonne, 1928 by Simon Mondzain. It changed hands for a price of EUR 6,816.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 6,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Simon Mondzain achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'offrande in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 60,250.00 (€ 70,778.23).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2008 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paysage De L'Yonne, 1928 von Simon Mondzain zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 6.816,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Simon Mondzain erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'offrande im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 60.250,00 (€ 70.778,23).
