In September 2017 Christies in Paris held the auction TABLEAUX 1400 - 1900, which included the work Vue de l'intérieur de la Grotte de Neptune à Tivoli by Simon Denis. The auction ended at the price of EUR 30,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00.
