In the Important Old Master Paintings and European Works of Art auction, the work A Waterfall In A Rocky River Valley changed hands for USD 38,400.00 (€ 29,543.01) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Simon Denis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work View Of Monticelli, Near Tivoli in February 2013 with an auction result of USD 242,500.00 (€ 185,411.73).
