The work Trees at Sunset by Simon Bussy was sold in the 20TH CENTURY BRITISH ART auction at Christies in London in December 2000. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 881.25 (€ 1,403.82). Admittedly, works by Simon Bussy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Vue De L'Isola San Michele, Venise in March 2011 with an auction result of EUR 6,375.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Trees at Sunset von Simon Bussy wurde im Dezember 2000 in der Auktion 20TH CENTURY BRITISH ART bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 881,25 (€ 1.403,82) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Simon Bussy auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Vue De L'Isola San Michele, Venise im März 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.375,00.
