The work Leda et le cygne by Simon Bussy was worth EUR 6,240.00 to a buyer in June 2006. This price was achieved in the auction Intérieurs at Christies in Paris and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Simon Bussy; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Vue De L'Isola San Michele, Venise sold at auction in March 2011 with the realized price of EUR 6,375.00.
