This artwork by Simon Bussy achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in December 2000. In the 20TH CENTURY BRITISH ART auction, the work Swiss Landscape sold for GBP 2,702.50 (€ 4,305.06) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Simon Bussy; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Vue De L'Isola San Michele, Venise sold at auction in March 2011 with the realized price of EUR 6,375.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Simon Bussy erzielte im Dezember 2000 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20TH CENTURY BRITISH ART wurde die Arbeit Swiss Landscape für GBP 2.702,50 (€ 4.305,06) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Simon Bussy; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Vue De L'Isola San Michele, Venise im März 2011 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 6.375,00.
