Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 'There must be Must be More to Life than this' - 'Oh No there isn't' by Simon Bond was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2003. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 200.00 – 300.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 211.50 (€ 306.38) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Simon Bond - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A pair of illustrations for A Hundred and One Uses of a Dead Cat, which sold at auction in March 2003 for GBP 646.25 (€ 936.17).
