Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2003 Christies in London held the auction British Art on Paper including the Collection and Studio of, which included the work Gents - Ladies by Simon Bond. The price achieved of GBP 329.00 (€ 476.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 400.00. Other works by Simon Bond have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2003 the work A pair of illustrations for A Hundred and One Uses of a Dead Cat was auctioned for GBP 646.25 (€ 936.17).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 329,00 (€ 476,60) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300,00 – 400,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Simon Bond konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2003 die Arbeit A pair of illustrations for A Hundred and One Uses of a Dead Cat für GBP 646,25 (€ 936,17) versteigert.
