Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2013 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Flowers by Sima Zhong. The price achieved of HKD 43,750.00 (€ 4,338.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Other works by Sima Zhong have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2006 the work Birds was auctioned for HKD 50,400.00 (€ 5,062.39).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2013 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Flowers von Sima Zhong zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 43.750,00 (€ 4.338,62) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Sima Zhong konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2006 die Arbeit Birds für HKD 50.400,00 (€ 5.062,39) versteigert.
