This artwork by Siep van den Berg achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in March 2007. In the Kerseboom Unlimited; a no reserve sale ! auction, the work Composition sold for EUR 1,680.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 900.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Siep van den Berg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition in March 2007 with an auction result of EUR 18,000.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Siep van den Berg erzielte im März 2007 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Kerseboom Unlimited; a no reserve sale ! wurde die Arbeit Composition für EUR 1.680,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 900,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Siep van den Berg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 18.000,00.
