Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2005 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work A Still Life With A Jug And A Vase by Siep van den Berg. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,440.00 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Siep van den Berg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition in March 2007 with an auction result of EUR 18,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2005 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Still Life With A Jug And A Vase von Siep van den Berg zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.440,00 und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Siep van den Berg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 18.000,00.
