A top price for Siegfried Hass - as previously expected
In July 2002 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Pictures, which included the work Looking out from woodland to a rowing boat on a lake by Siegfried Hass. The price achieved of GBP 1,292.50 (€ 2,061.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Looking out from woodland to a rowing boat on a lake is the most expensive artwork by Siegfried Hass that we have observed at auctions so far.
