Auction result fails to reach estimate
This work of art by Siegfried Hass could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in April this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings, furniture and varia auction, the work View of a forest with sunlight sparkling in a stream changed hands for DKK 2,300.00 (€ 308.54) - just shy of the DKK 3,000.00 estimate. Admittedly, works by Siegfried Hass have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Looking out from woodland to a rowing boat on a lake in July 2002 with an auction result of GBP 1,292.50 (€ 2,061.59).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Dieses Kunstwerk von Siegfried Hass konnte im April diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia wechselte die Arbeit View of a forest with sunlight sparkling in a stream für DKK 2.300,00 (€ 308,54) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit den Schätzpreis von DKK 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Siegfried Hass auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Looking out from woodland to a rowing boat on a lake im Juli 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.292,50 (€ 2.061,59).
