The work Americantomb For Neema by Siah Armajani was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 36,649.97) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Americantomb For Neema is the most expensive artwork by Siah Armajani that we have observed at auctions so far.
