Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work UNTITLED by Shu Takahashi for HKD 12,500.00 (€ 1,427.33). This price was achieved in the auction Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 18,000.00 – 48,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shu Takahashi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work SUPERFICI R647 (SURFACE R647) in May 2017 with an auction result of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 21,409.98).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit UNTITLED von Shu Takahashi für HKD 12.500,00 (€ 1.427,33) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 18.000,00 – 48.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shu Takahashi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit SUPERFICI R647 (SURFACE R647) im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 21.409,98).
