It achieved a price of HKD 48,000.00 (€ 4,570.58), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 60%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Shin Dong Won; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Coffee Break; & Tea Break sold at auction in November 2010 with the realized price of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 7,410.25).
