The work Goldfishes by Shi Xiangtuo was worth HKD 31,875.00 (€ 3,628.30) to a buyer in April 2019. This price was achieved in the auction Chinese Paintingsonline only at Bonhams in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 5,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Shi Xiangtuo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Buddha, which sold at auction in April 2019 for HKD 94,375.00 (€ 10,742.62).

Die Arbeit Goldfishes von Shi Xiangtuo war einem Käufer im April 2019 HKD 31.875,00 (€ 3.628,30) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Chinese Paintingsonline only bei Bonhams in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 5.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Für andere Arbeiten von Shi Xiangtuo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Buddha beobachtet, die im April 2019 für HKD 94.375,00 (€ 10.742,62) versteigert wurde.
