Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two Roosters by Shi Qi was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in October 2019. The price achieved of HKD 31,875.00 (€ 3,643.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shi Qi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spring in April this year with an auction result of HKD 288,000.00 (€ 294,104.35).
