Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Shi Qi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in June 2015. In the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction, the work The Legend of White Snake sold for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 15,902.37) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shi Qi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spring in April this year with an auction result of HKD 288,000.00 (€ 294,104.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Shi Qi erzielte im Juni 2015 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings wurde die Arbeit The Legend of White Snake für HKD 137.500,00 (€ 15.902,37) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shi Qi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Spring im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 288.000,00 (€ 294.104,35).
