This artwork by Shi Hu achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in October 2021. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Figures sold for HKD 21,600.00 (€ 2,402.70) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shi Hu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Grand Autumn in April last year with an auction result of HKD 2,772,000.00 (€ 335,154.98).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 80 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Shi Hu erzielte im Oktober 2021 bei China Guardian einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Figures für HKD 21.600,00 (€ 2.402,70) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shi Hu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Grand Autumn im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.772.000,00 (€ 335.154,98).
