In February 2019 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction The L.D. "Brink" Brinkman Collection Online, which included the work Winner by Sherman Tipton Coleman. The »bidding war« ended at USD 1,250.00 (€ 1,098.51), 39% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Sherman Tipton Coleman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Indian and Turkey in February 2019 with an auction result of USD 10,625.00 (€ 9,337.38).

Im Februar 2019 führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion The L.D. "Brink" Brinkman Collection Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Winner von Sherman Tipton Coleman zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 1.250,00 (€ 1.098,51) und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sherman Tipton Coleman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Indian and Turkey im Februar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 9.337,38).
