Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Madera Canyon by Sherman Tipton Coleman for USD 600.00 (€ 527.29). This price was achieved in the auction The L.D. "Brink" Brinkman Collection Online at Bonhams in Los Angeles and was even below the estimate range of USD 700.00 – 900.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sherman Tipton Coleman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Indian and Turkey in February 2019 with an auction result of USD 10,625.00 (€ 9,337.38).
