Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Calligraphy in Running Script by Shen Yinmo was sold in the Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings auction at Christies in Hong Kong in December last year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 126,000.00 (€ 15,099.27). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shen Yinmo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Poems By Shu Manshu in October 2018 with an auction result of HKD 6,720,000.00 (€ 756,681.96).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy in Running Script von Shen Yinmo wurde im Dezember letzten Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 126.000,00 (€ 15.099,27) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shen Yinmo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Poems By Shu Manshu im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.720.000,00 (€ 756.681,96).
