This artwork by Shannon Bool achieved an unexpectedly high price at VAN HAM in June 2015. In the ACHENBACH Art Auction auction, the work The 1917 Halifax Explosion sold for EUR 1,116.00 - well above the estimate of EUR 500.00. Admittedly, works by Shannon Bool have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Gaza Zebras in December 2021 with an auction result of GBP 3,780.00 (€ 4,508.75).

In der Auktion ACHENBACH Art Auction wurde die Arbeit The 1917 Halifax Explosion für EUR 1.116,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem Schätzpreis von EUR 500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shannon Bool auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Gaza Zebras im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.780,00 (€ 4.508,75).
