Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Study of a dewan (chief native officer) by Muhammad Amir was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2000. The price achieved of GBP 1,645.00 (€ 2,752.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Muhammad Amir have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A bay horse standing with a groom in September 2003 with an auction result of GBP 16,730.00 (€ 16,851.67).

Die Arbeit Study of a dewan (chief native officer) von Muhammad Amir kam im September 2000 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.645,00 (€ 2.752,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden.
