Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Shahriar Ahmadi could be acquired at Bonhams in London in December 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online Sale auction, this work without title changed hands for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,392.61) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shahriar Ahmadi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in October 2010 with an auction result of USD 27,500.00 (€ 19,792.72).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Shahriar Ahmadi konnte im Dezember 2018 bei Bonhams in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online Sale wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.392,61) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shahriar Ahmadi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 19.792,72).
