Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Composition by Shafic Abboud was auctioned at Christies in London in November last year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 20,160.00 (€ 23,360.84). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shafic Abboud achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Villa des Iris in November this year with an auction result of GBP 381,400.00 (€ 441,959.66).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Composition von Shafic Abboud kam im November letzten Jahres bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 20.160,00 (€ 23.360,84) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shafic Abboud erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Villa des Iris im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 381.400,00 (€ 441.959,66).
