The work Picking Lotus by Sha Fu was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2012. It achieved a price of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 7,466.43), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Sha Fu; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Figures After Old Masters sold at auction in September 2018 with the realized price of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,604.37).

Die Arbeit Picking Lotus von Sha Fu kam im Oktober 2012 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 7.466,43) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Sha Fu; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Figures After Old Masters im September 2018 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.604,37).
