Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Grand Vampire by Joann Sfar was auctioned at Artcurial in April 2014. It changed hands for a price of EUR 19,592.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Joann Sfar - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Le Chat Du Rabbin, which sold at auction in April 2014 for EUR 53,088.00.

Die Arbeit Grand Vampire von Joann Sfar kam im April 2014 bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 19.592,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Joann Sfar mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Le Chat Du Rabbin beobachtet, die im April 2014 für EUR 53.088,00 versteigert wurde.
