This artwork by Sergio Sarri achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Milan in May 2007. In the Modern & Contemporary Art and Collection Jef Verheyen and Dani Franque auction, the work Controllo Pulsante sold for EUR 3,600.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Sergio Sarri have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Letto Di Contenzione N° 2 in May 2016 with an auction result of EUR 30,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Sergio Sarri erzielte im Mai 2007 bei Sothebys in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art and Collection Jef Verheyen and Dani Franque wurde die Arbeit Controllo Pulsante für EUR 3.600,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sergio Sarri auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Letto Di Contenzione N° 2 im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 30.000,00.
