Auction result well in line with expectations
The work J. F. Kennedy by Sergio Lombardo was auctioned at Christies in Milan in May 2011. It changed hands for a price of EUR 11,050.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sergio Lombardo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bianco 49 (White 49) in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 131,250.00 (€ 152,240.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit J. F. Kennedy von Sergio Lombardo kam im Mai 2011 bei Christies in Mailand zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 11.050,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sergio Lombardo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bianco 49 (White 49) im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 131.250,00 (€ 152.240,59).
