This artwork by Sergio de Castro achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in October 2007. In the Intérieurs auction, the work Sans titre sold for EUR 1,625.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sergio de Castro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'Atelier- Printemps 66, 1966 in June 2007 with an auction result of EUR 23,545.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Sergio de Castro erzielte im Oktober 2007 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Intérieurs wurde die Arbeit Sans titre für EUR 1.625,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sergio de Castro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'Atelier- Printemps 66, 1966 im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 23.545,00.
