This artwork by Sergio de Castro achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in January 2007. In the Intérieurs auction, the work Nature morte sold for EUR 420.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sergio de Castro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'Atelier- Printemps 66, 1966 in June 2007 with an auction result of EUR 23,545.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Sergio de Castro erzielte im Januar 2007 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Intérieurs wurde die Arbeit Nature morte für EUR 420,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sergio de Castro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'Atelier- Printemps 66, 1966 im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 23.545,00.
