A top price for Sergey Mironenko - as previously expected
In March 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Contemporary Sale, which included the work Steel Highway by Sergey Mironenko. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,703.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Steel Highway is the most expensive artwork by Sergey Mironenko that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im März 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Contemporary Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Steel Highway von Sergey Mironenko zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 15.703,10) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Steel Highway das teuerste Kunstwerk von Sergey Mironenko, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
