Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nymphs by the pool by Serge Marshennikov was auctioned at Christies in London in August 2007. The price achieved of GBP 9,000.00 (€ 13,304.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Serge Marshennikov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Harem Dreams, which sold at auction in November 2006 for GBP 21,600.00 (€ 32,076.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Nymphs by the pool von Serge Marshennikov kam im August 2007 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 9.000,00 (€ 13.304,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Serge Marshennikov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Harem Dreams beobachtet, die im November 2006 für GBP 21.600,00 (€ 32.076,68) versteigert wurde.
