Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 9,000.00 (€ 13,304.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Serge Marshennikov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Harem Dreams, which sold at auction in November 2006 for GBP 21,600.00 (€ 32,076.68).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 9.000,00 (€ 13.304,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Serge Marshennikov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Harem Dreams beobachtet, die im November 2006 für GBP 21.600,00 (€ 32.076,68) versteigert wurde.
