This artwork by Serge Marshennikov achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in May 2011. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Sleeping beauty sold for GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,587.58) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 9,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Serge Marshennikov; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Harem Dreams sold at auction in November 2006 with the realized price of GBP 21,600.00 (€ 32,076.68).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Serge Marshennikov erzielte im Mai 2011 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wurde die Arbeit Sleeping beauty für GBP 25.000,00 (€ 28.587,58) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 9.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Serge Marshennikov; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Harem Dreams im November 2006 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 21.600,00 (€ 32.076,68).
