In November this year Bonhams in London held the auction British and European Art, which included the work 'Girl in white' by Serge Marshennikov. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 9,600.00 (€ 11,124.31), 37% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Serge Marshennikov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Harem Dreams, which sold at auction in November 2006 for GBP 21,600.00 (€ 32,076.68).

Im November diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion British and European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'Girl in white' von Serge Marshennikov zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 9.600,00 (€ 11.124,31) und damit 37% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Serge Marshennikov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Harem Dreams beobachtet, die im November 2006 für GBP 21.600,00 (€ 32.076,68) versteigert wurde.
