Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Sergej Jensen was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in London in July 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 6,300.00 (€ 7,388.06) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sergej Jensen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 262,500.00 (€ 202,109.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Sergej Jensen wurde im Juli 2021 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 6.300,00 (€ 7.388,06) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sergej Jensen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 262.500,00 (€ 202.109,64).
