Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Since You Left by Sergej Jensen was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in London in October 2020. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 30,240.00 (€ 33,578.94). Admittedly, works by Sergej Jensen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 262,500.00 (€ 202,109.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Since You Left von Sergej Jensen wurde im Oktober 2020 in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 30.240,00 (€ 33.578,94) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sergej Jensen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 262.500,00 (€ 202.109,64).
